Special Delivery – Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris
For
those of you who may be looking at this title and wondering if it could have
been a Nickelodeon Special Delivery rest assured, it was not. One of the goals
I have with this blog is to provide clean family friendly entertainment both in
the ‘80’s music videos and Special Deliveries that I post. Most of the SDs are
indeed taken from the early days of Nickelodeon’s history but others, like this
one, were but they still hold to the standards I have for this blog. That being
said I hope that you will enjoy this film.
The
plot revolves around Ada Harris, who is so enchanted by her employer's couture
wardrobe that she becomes determined to go to the House of Dior in Paris to
purchase an evening gown of her own. She cuts every corner she knows how to cut
but does she make it to Paris? Will she have her own Dior dress and if so will
she be allowed to keep it? Find out in this wonderful film starring Angela
Lansbury as Mrs. ‘Arris.
