Costumes & Stones

With Halloween just around the corner I’d like to share some with you some of the items sent in by our wonderful fans.

These amazing costumes were created by Bianca Gallagher as “Valerie” and Brent Frattini as “Barth” who live in Providence, Rhode Island. Both characters are from one of the most famous Classic Nickelodeon shows ever produced, “You Can't Do That On Television”. Photo used with permission.

Recently I became the new owner of the F/B group “Bring back Double Dare” and discovered this terrific email in the archives!

From: Crystal Rhea
Date: Nov 05, 2013
Hey there- We are presently in second place in the Halloween costume contest. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share or post the link on your facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151760866963129&set=a.10151760866913129.1073741827.251495443128&type=1&theater  We rocked the Double Dare costume Thanks so much in advance!

Now, the title of this blog is “Costumes & Stones.” You’ve seen the costumes, now see the stones!

These awesome pictures were sent to me from my friend Andrew Kerbs who recently, “I visited Avebury England the haunted site of that Nickelodeon miniseries The Third Eye.”  Here is a copy of the email he sent me along with the pictures and all I can say is, he’s a brave man!

Peggy - Here are the pictures of the standing stones at Avebury from that Nick show The Third Eye. Rumor has it one of the stones tries crossing the street. There was a creepy eeriness the day we visited the stones. - Andrew

Thank you to all of you who sent in these wonderful pictures and allowing me to post them. If any of you have pictures of yourself in Classic Nickelodeon costumes or if you’ve visited a famous filming site or perhaps you’ve met some of the Classic Nick stars, created some artwork, fan films, anything that’s family friendly, please don’t be shy about sending them in I’d love to post them for our fans to enjoy! Please send them to peggysueclay@hotmail.com
