A Tribute to Lennie Baker
It
is with a very heavy heart that I dedicate this week’s Classic Nick rocks to
our beloved Lennie Baker of Sha Na Na who peacefully passed away on Wednesday,
February 24th at South Shore Hospital at the age of 69.
Lennie
was the best saxophone player to ever grace a stage but he was funny as well.
As you watch these videos you will see his wonderful, and priceless, facial
expressions that crack me up every time!
As
I’ve said before I have never seen my Sha boys in concert, or have met any of
them, they were a part of my childhood and now that I’ve rediscovered them as an
adult I love them even more than I did when I was a little girl.
Goodbye
our sweet Lennie, we love you and we miss you very much.
