The Book of Slime

A few years ago I wrote a book called, “The Book of Slime” It is a collection of slime recipes that I  have collected around the web with a couple of my own surprises thrown in for fun. (Credit is given to the website I found the recipe on.) So the question is this.
If I can figure out a decent price point on these, one that would include printing, binding, and shipping, would anyone be interested in buying one?

My guess would be about $10 and the pages will be printed in color. Slime Green of course.

This is a high-energy magical musical version of the classic children's story "Jack and the Beanstalk". Hosted by Lucie Arnaz and starring the critically acclaimed First All Children's Theatre. Clever Jack includes a cast of more than 30 singing and dancing gifted young performers who will win the hearts of every family.

TV critic Kay Garbella of the New York Daily News said of Clever Jack, “It’s a romp. Youngsters will love it.” Host Lucie Arnaz, introducing the show, calls Clever Jack “a very modern, very funny version of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk.’ Fe Fi Fo Fum.” And Clever Jack has been recommended for viewing by the National Education Association.

The First All Children’s Theater was the first children’s theater to ever receive a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. As Lucie Arnaz says, the First All Children’s Theater is “exciting” and “exhilarating” and “a very special place,” Clever Jack will find its own very special place in the hearts and minds of children and their parents everywhere.

Classic Nick Sighting

The Snowman was shown as a Special Delivery in the early 1980’s which is probably when most of us first saw it. In 2012, to mark the 30th anniversary of the original film, a short animated sequel was created called, “The Snowman and The Snowdog.”

Last month when I had to go out of town to get my car serviced my Mom and I stopped by the local Target to look around. As I glided down the isles I happened upon this beautiful while chocolate version of The Snowman and The Snowdog and couldn’t resist taking pictures to share with all of you. Hope you like them.

Special Delivery – Tuck Everlasting

Special Delivery – Tuck Everlasting

Most people are familiar with the 2002 Disney remake of this film but chances are that most of the people who watched it have never seen the original film from 1981. Both films are based on Natalie Babbitt's 1975 children's book of the same title.

The story revolves around Winnie Foster, a girl from a well-bred, strait-laced, upper-class family who feels suffocated and longs to make her own choices in life. One day while she is taking a walk in the woods her father owns she meets Jessie Tuck, a young man with a secret. Soon they are met by Jessie’s mother and brother; as they begin to talk they hear Winnie’s mother calling for her. Afraid outsiders will discover their secret they kidnap Winnie to protect their secret but not before they run into the man in the yellow suit.

Who is he and what is his connection with the Tuck family? Find out in the original 1981 version of “Tuck Everlasting.”

Special Delivery - Rikki Tikki Tavi

Plot summary from Wikipedia
The story follows the experiences of a young mongoose named Rikki-Tikki-Tavi (for his chattering vocalizations) after he is adopted into a British family residing in India, as a pet and as protection against venomous cobra snakes. After becoming friendly with some of the other creatures inhabiting the garden, Rikki is warned of two cobras Nag and Nagaina, who are angered by the family's presence on their territory. Accordingly Nag enters the house's bathroom before dawn but is attacked by Rikki. The struggle that ensues awakens the human family and the father kills Nag with a shotgun.

The grieving Nagaina attempts revenge against Rikki's humans, cornering them as they take breakfast on an outdoor veranda. While Nagaina is distracted by a female tailor bird Rikki destroys the cobra's unhatched brood of eggs except for one. He carries it to where Nagaina is threatening to bite the child Teddy while his parents watch helplessly. Nagaina, enraged, recovers her egg, but is pursued by Rikki-Tikki away from the house to the cobra's underground nest where an unseen final battle takes place. Rikki emerges triumphant from the hole declaring Nagaina dead. His subsequent role is to protect the family by keeping the garden free from any future intrusion by snakes.
